Killer E2200 chip to appear on motherboards at Cebit
MSI has announced its partnershup with Qualcomm Atheros that will result with implementation of Killer Networking technology on both MSI's notebooks and a new lineup of gaming motherboards scheduled to appear at Cebit show in March
MSI plans to introduce a new line of gaming motherboards that will use the latest Killer E2200 chip. According to MSI, the new Killer E2200 chip has many advantages including Windows 8 compatibility and Linux supported drivers that were not found on the previous E2100 chip. MSI and Qualcomm Atheros also joined up to create a new and upgraded driver and user interface that will allow gamers full control over their network traffic and prioritization
As noted, MSI will showcase the new gaming line of motherboards with Killer E2200, as well as an "exiting new range of gaming products" at Cebit scheduled to kick off on March 5th
